Gear Pumps, as well as Progressive Cavity Pumps generally used in hot, abrasive, thick/viscous applications like asphalt, can be difficult to seal. Our PackRyt BRG system has been successfully used with some of our robust packing. The bearing material is extremely wear resistant even at high temps 300-550°F. If you have a Viking or Gorman Rupp pump that is difficult to seal and to keep sealed then contact us.
