Condensate Pumps
Several pump styles are used to move condensate, all presenting their own design issues to the user. (see descriptions under pump types)
Further, condensate can be clean or dirty and temperatures have a wide range from well under 190 degrees F to well over 300 degrees F. If the user does not control the temperature and it hovers around the 190º mark, flashing occurs which causes damage to all contact parts
SealRyt® employs several different configurations for sealing, depending on these variables, but all with its patented shaft support systems and high performance packing. Stabilizing the shaft is key to long term sealing of this application. Further, SealRyt® designates the proper piping plan to the stuffing box for recirculation, depending on access to ports and the fluid dynamics of each application (Plan 11, 21, 41, etc.).
