Construction
A unique combination of PTFE/Graphite and high performance polymer based yarns impregnated with proprietary, inert blocking agent. The yarns are precisely combined to provide uniform density and strength while maintaining the outstanding characteristics of each yarn.
Characteristics
- A proven configuration, keeping all chemical and thermal qualities of PTFE/Graphite yarn, but with greatly improved extrusion resistance.
- Overall, Style 472 is a stronger, better packing than PTFE/Graphite yarn alone.
- Style 472 is very useful for both high and low speed equipment, aggressive chemicals and abrasive service.
- Style 472 is an excellent all-service packing as well, because of its tremendous scope of abilities, and, as an extra benefit, it is very “easy” on shafts.
